This package requires a minimum of 7 Hunting days, 2 Travel days from and to the International Airport. 9 days in Namibia in total. The International Airport is 5 hours from the hunting grounds in the North
Hunting in the North of Namibia is done the traditional way by locating fresh tracks and following up on foot. This hunting area is renowned for big Eland and Kudu. With the vegetation mostly savanna bush veld with lush green in the summer time. Despite the dense vegetation, hunting is very successful due to the fact that hunting is done one foot and good numbers of animals. There are in total 18 species of plains game that can be hunted here: Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Burchells Zebra, Oryx/Gemsbuck, Red Hartebeest, Impala, Blesbuck, Springbuck, Warthog, Steenbuck, Duiker, Damara Dik-Dik and Klipspringer
The average shooting distance in this area is between 100-150 yards. With heavy dense vegetation the preferred caliber is .308 to .375.

Hunting in the North of Namibia there’s always the question of Malaria. At our hunting camp in the North we have never recorded any Malaria. This area is Malaria free. If you decide to take any medication against Malaria be sure to notify your doctor if you start to feel sick after you’ve returned home from your safari, that you’ve been in Africa and you used medication against Malaria. This medication sometimes hide the malaria symptoms. We will supply mosquito repellents in all camps.
